Last Thursday, the DELTA Gruppe presented the plans for the new special education centre in Aschau am Inn at a press conference. The project, which will be realised in the district of Mühldorf am Inn, sends a strong signal in favour of inclusion and support for all children, regardless of their individual needs.
The initial preparatory work has already begun and now the former Don Bosco building is to be demolished to make room for the new building. District Administrator Max Heimerl emphasised the importance of the project: ‘All children are equally valuable in the district, we want to promote all talents.’
With an investment of around 50 million euros, the district will build a modern and comprehensive education centre. DELTA Gruppe has been commissioned with the project planning and presented detailed floor plans, sections, visualisations and a schedule for the construction project. The new building will start in August 2025, with completion of the shell planned for September 2026 and overall completion scheduled for March 2028.
The project comprises the construction of a new school building including an underground car park, the restructuring of the outdoor sports areas, the renovation of the sports hall and the redesign of the car parking spaces and the bus station. The new school building will offer 21 classrooms, rooms for specialised classes, an assembly hall with canteen and canteen kitchen as well as space for a pre-school facility and all-day care.
Armin Schmidt's video provides further details and visualisations of the project and offers a comprehensive insight into the planned development centre.
We are delighted to be part of this important project and to be helping to shape the future of education in the district of Mühldorf am Inn.
