As a trainee draughtswoman, I support the team in various areas - from drawing up plans and processing drafts to coordinating with the civil engineers.
What inspired you to become a draughtswoman and what do you like most about your job?
I was mainly motivated by the creative side of the job and the opportunity to work in a team. I find it particularly exciting to draw up plans for construction projects and see the progress on construction sites. I also like the teamwork and the pleasant working atmosphere.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?
If I could have a superpower, it would be the ability to stop time. That would be handy because the weeks always go by so quickly and if I don't finish something at work I would have more time to do it.
How has your career developed at DELTA Gruppe and what do you particularly like about working here?
Since I started at the DELTA Gruppe, I've mainly grown professionally in terms of my responsibilities and my interaction with colleagues. I particularly appreciate the flexible working hours and the support I receive, even with college-related issues.
What challenges have you faced during your apprenticeship and how have you managed to overcome them?
One challenge has been switching between college and the office. It wasn't easy at first, but with the support of my colleagues, I have been able to adapt quickly and get used to the new way of working.
What are your interests and hobbies outside of work?
Outside of work, I do show dancing, I also danced ballet for a long time and I like to meet up a lot with friends.
As an apprentice draftsman for electrical engineering at DELTA Gruppe, I support the team in designing installations and drawing up plans.
What inspired you to work in your field and what do you enjoy most about your job?
At school, I enjoyed working on technical projects and developed a passion for technical subjects. I also enjoy working with computers. A practical week at DELTA Gruppe in the ninth grade showed me that the profession of draftsman for electrical systems suits me well. I find lighting calculation particularly exciting, which is now one of my favorite tasks. Overall, I really enjoy my work as I am in a supportive environment where I can always count on the help of my colleagues if I have any questions.
How has your career developed at DELTA Gruppe and what do you particularly like about working here?
Since I started working at the DELTA Gruppe, I have learned a lot and grown both professionally and personally. The combination of work and school has enabled me to understand the subjects at vocational school much better than before and I also feel more confident in my day-to-day work. I particularly appreciate the helpful colleagues and the inclusive culture where everyone is willing to offer help and share knowledge.
What challenges have you faced during your training and how have you managed to overcome them?
One challenge has been that there are constantly new topics that you have to familiarize yourself with. I found this difficult at first, but over time I have learned to work my way into new subject areas by myself and to ask my colleagues for support when I need to.
Do you have any professional goals for the future?
My goal is to successfully complete my apprenticeship and, if possible, to continue working for the DELTA Gruppe after my apprenticeship. I have not yet set any other long-term goals.
What hobbies or interests do you have outside of work and is there anyone in particular who inspires you?
Outside of work, I play soccer in a club and meet up with friends at the weekend. There is no particular person who has inspired me, but I like to be motivated by the experiences of others.
As an apprentice in industrial management at the DELTA Gruppe, my main activities are to provide support in the creation of marketing materials and help with the planning and implementation of communication measures.
What has been your best experience at DELTA Gruppe so far?
My best experience so far has been my stay in Benediktbeuern, where all new apprentices spend a week at the beginning of the apprenticeship program to get to know each other. There I was able to take part in great projects together with all the other apprentices. It was a great opportunity to get to know my colleagues better and gain valuable experience.
What inspired you to work in your current field and what do you enjoy most about your job?
I work a lot on the PC, which I really enjoy. The creative work I get to do here has particularly inspired me. I also appreciate the teamwork, as we work together on many projects and can exchange ideas.
What challenges have you faced during your training and how have you managed to overcome them?
At the beginning, I was afraid that I wouldn't fit in well. However, this fear turned out to be completely unfounded, as my colleagues were very helpful and welcoming, which helped me to integrate quickly.
Do you have any professional goals for the future?
My goal is to successfully complete my apprenticeship and hopefully continue working for the DELTA Gruppe afterwards. I would like to develop further in my job and remain part of the team in the long term.
What hobbies or interests do you have outside of work and is there anyone in particular who inspires you?
Outside of work, I play soccer in a club and am involved in the rural youth organization. One person who inspires me is Cristiano Ronaldo. I admire his hard work and the discipline with which he has achieved his goals.
As an apprentice draftsman for mechanical engineering at the DELTA Gruppe, I create technical drawings and assist on construction sites to track the execution of the plans on site.
What do you like most about your job at DELTA Gruppe?
The variety and diversity! I not only get to work in the office, but also regularly visit construction sites, which I really enjoy. What I find especially fascinating are the large projects, where I work with different systems and technologies.
How did you come to the DELTA Group and what inspires you about your job?
I found out about DELTA through a contact at school and I knew immediately that this was the right place for me. My passion for heating, ventilation and plumbing inspired me, and the opportunity to work with technology and be creative at the same time is something that really excites me.
What challenges have you overcome so far in your job and how has that helped you to grow in the process?
There are new challenges every day, whether it's drawing up plans or calculating pipe networks. But my colleagues are always willing to help, which helps me to overcome these challenges. I've learned to become more independent and take on responsibility, which has helped me both professionally and personally.
What do you particularly appreciate about the corporate culture at the DELTA Gruppe?
The informal atmosphere is something I particularly appreciate at DELTA. There are flat hierarchies, everyone is respected and you can build up a real sense of trust. The interaction with colleagues is always friendly and there is a strong team spirit.
What are your professional goals and how do you see your future at DELTA?
My goal is to successfully complete my apprenticeship and to continue working at DELTA, first as a draftsman and later as a specialist designer. I'm looking forward to gaining more professional experience and continuing my education, because the opportunities DELTA offers are of great value to me.
As an apprentice draughtsman at DELTA Gruppe, I support the team in the planning and execution projects and benefit from practical experience on construction sites.
What excites you most about your apprenticeship at DELTA Gruppe?
I'm most excited about the fact that I've been able to travel to construction sites and take part in the planning of projects since my first year of the apprenticeship. It's fascinating to see how a plan you have drawn becomes an actual building.
How did you come to the DELTA Gruppe and what inspired you to become a draftsman?
I found out about DELTA through the careers advice service at Vilsbiburg secondary school. Various practical weeks during school then showed me that the profession of draftsman is exactly what I would enjoy most.
How have you changed since you started your apprenticeship?
I've become much more proactive. In the first year of my apprenticeship, I was still a bit reserved, but now I'm more confident and get more actively involved in discussions.
What makes the DELTA Gruppe an attractive employer for you?
DELTA offers great company events such as playing pool with colleagues, flextime and the strong support you receive as an apprentice. This is not always a given and is something which motivates me every day.
What professional goals do you have for the future?
After my apprenticeship, I would like to get university entrance qualifications and then study civil engineering at Landshut University of Applied Sciences. I would really like to build on my current professional skills and knowledge.
What hobbies or interests do you have outside of work?
I like going to the gym and meeting up with friends. Traveling and discovering new cities is also a passion of mine. London is one of my favorite destination.
