- Construction phase 1More space for optimal learning.The school building was extended in the first construction phase. Three new classrooms, two IT rooms, one physics room, one chemistry room, one music room, three technology rooms and a janitor's workshop were created. This extension also meant that we could reduce the need for container classrooms. An important step that optimized the use of space available on the one hand and which made economic sense on the other.
- Construction phase 1.1Sports hall 2.0: Modern, innovative and with handicapped access.In 2020, the sports hall was completely gutted, all harmful substances were professionally removed and the roof was demolished. The hall was given a new pitched roof with sheet metal cladding, modern underfloor heating and a refurbished social room. There is an elevator which provides handicapped access. New sports equipment and two large screens make sports lessons both contemporary and fun.
- Construction phase 2Container refurbishment & room configuration.From June 2021, eight classes moved into the temporary rooms provided in container classrooms for 9 months. During this time, the northern part of the 1973 school building was extensively gutted and renovated. The flat roof was replaced with a pitched roof and new classrooms, specialist rooms and the modern administration area were created by July 2022. With the completion of this construction phase, the school administration moved from the southern to the renovated northern part of the building
- Construction phase 3Room for innovation - staff room & specialist roomsVarious rooms in the southern part of the building were redesigned, including the staff room, IT rooms and specialist rooms for technical activities/crafts and physics. The project included gutting, professional removal of hazardous substances, extensive refurbishment and the installation of modern, state-of-the-art equipment.
