On Friday morning, a slowly smouldering roof fire broke out at our headquarters in Geisenhausen. The fire department was alerted around 8:10 a.m. and arrived on the scene with a large number of crew members. The incident commander reported that a smouldering fire had developed in the insulation of the roof structure, which is why the roof had to be opened to remove pockets of embers.

Thanks to the speedy response of the emergency services, the fire was prevented from spreading further. The evacuation of the building proceeded in an orderly manner, and there were no injuries.

• The fire crews from Geisenhausen, Vilsbiburg, Landshut, Altfraunhofen, Ahrain and Bergham
• The police
• The emergency medical services
• The drone unit of the Landshut Disaster Management Center
• The district fire department
• The federal agency for technical relief
• as well as all the employees who reacted both calmly and professionally

Their extraordinary efforts prevented much greater damage and ensured everyone's safety.

The affected parts of the building are currently being inspected and will be repaired as soon as possible. Business operations are continuing as usual.
