On 1 September 2025, it was that time again: eight new apprentices began their careers with us. We are delighted to welcome the following talented young people to our team:

Bastian – Draftsman, Mechanical Engineering 

Paula – Draftswoman, Mechanical Engineering

Tobias – Draftsman, Electrical Engineering

Andreas – Electronics Technician for Plant Engineering

Niclas – Architectural Draughtsman (Regensburg branch)

Eva – Architectural Draughtswoman (Landshut branch)

Martina – Architectural draughtswoman

Maximilian – Plant mechanic for sanitary, heating and air conditioning technology

To get things started there were two action-packed induction days aimed at getting everyone to get to know each other and share experiences. Following  a warm welcome and an icebreaker game, there was a DELTA quiz, interesting workshops and some training sessions. One highlight was a visit to one of our projects, Building 45, Center for Technology and Development of the Dräxlmaier Group in Vilsbiburg.

On the second day there were more training courses on the agenda, including on Outlook, Teams, Adonis and our internal systems. In the social media workshop, the apprentices had the opportunity to create their own posts on the topic of ‘starting an apprenticeship’, which they did with an impressive level of creative imagination. Critical aspects such as the downsides of social media were also discussed.

It was particularly important to us that the trainees not only develop professionally, but also get to know each other on a personal level. Activities such as a table football tournament, 3D black light mini golf and an evening meal together at the Italian restaurant L'Osteria in Landshut provided plenty of opportunity for informal chats, shared laughter and the chance to form new friendships. After all, we believe that good teamwork, even across departments, is a key foundation for successful training. From Wednesday onwards, everyone went to their respective departments at their locations: they were given a step by step introduction to their new daily routines and can now head off into their apprenticeships with a great deal of motivation and enthusiasm.
