The official groundbreaking ceremony at Munich Airport marked the start of a major infrastructure project: the expansion and renovation of the winter service building. As the planning partner for the technical building equipment, we are proud to be involved in this project.

On behalf of Munich Airport, the DELTA Gruppe is responsible for planning the heating, ventilation, sanitation and fire extinguishing technology. The scope of the project includes both the new construction with modern rest and common rooms and the complete renovation of the existing building, including technical upgrades.

Our goal: a sustainable, functional and energy-efficient infrastructure for winter services at Munich Airport.

Project schedule at a glance

• Start of HVAC construction: November 2025
• Completion of new building & 1st construction phase of existing building renovation: October 2026
• Completion of entire existing building renovation: April 2027

The groundbreaking ceremony marks the beginning of an exciting construction phase in which we will contribute our technical expertise and work with Munich Airport to create a modern and functional building.
