On 3 February 2026, the DELTA Group received two special awards at the Tech Campus Wörth-Wiesent: the quality seals ‘Apprenticeship – Works well for us!’ and ‘Career + Family – Works well for us!’. The award ceremony took place as part of a festive event organised by the initiative ‘Carrer and Family. Works well for us!’, a platform that honours and connects companies and highlights good examples. The initiative was launched in 2015 and has since been strengthening companies that stand out for their exemplary training work and family-friendly structures.

A total of around 80 companies from the city and district of Regensburg received the coveted seal of quality. The award-winning companies represented a broad mix of different industries. It was therefore all the more gratifying that we, as a planning and architecture office, were also able to impress in both categories. Our Regensburg branch manager and our deputy branch manager were there to accept the seals on our behalf.

The jury evaluated a wide range of criteria, including family-friendly working conditions, flexible working time and location models, a supportive corporate culture and innovative approaches to apprenticeship, which the companies outlined in a multi-page application form. The aim of the initiative is to highlight best practices, learn from each other and strengthen the exchange between companies.

District Administrator Tanja Schweiger, who presented the awards in person, emphasised the importance of this platform in her speech: ‘We network, we exchange ideas, we get to know each other even better. And that's what it's all about. That we as a district offer a platform where companies can exchange ideas. I am proud of the great entrepreneurship in our district of Regensburg.’

For us, the event provided valuable insights, exciting discussions and an enriching exchange with representatives from business, trade, science and politics. For the DELTA Group, the two quality seals are an important sign of recognition for our ongoing commitment as a reliable apprenticeship provider and family-friendly employer.
